So the question I put to you guys, if the Turbo-Sim can replicate an at&t card and allow you to use the iPhone on any other carrier, is it safe to say that this can possibly be done with Japanese phones? I cant see why not same principal, time to give these hackers something more constructive to do

Oo......

Have a 904SH sitting here, gathering dust.........18 months, all the 'great' unlockers in the world......have failed.............

Could a Turbo Sim be the answer?? Quite possibly, just have to make it replicate VodaKK/Softbank!! Hmmm, where to find out more??

Well I think its for us to approach the person that released the turbo-sim hack, they will probably need a j-phone and sim card though for which I would happily supply.

agreed. though i have no softbank hardware, i vouch that the market demand for ready-to-go Softbank turbo sims running on the AT&T network is willing to pay a several hundred dollar premium IN ADDITION to the cost of phone and sim

I think it will be a bigger hit in LA as alot of Japanese would be more willing to use there J-PHONES with all the bells and whistles with at&t or t-mobile etc.

/s, all J-Phones don't have that much more than the latest world wide models.

The special features are network dependant.

J phones that use sim cards are 3G and can be unlocked usually, however if they can't, using turbo sim WILL work. However they'll not be able to use the network dependant features. (such as credi-link)

If you have any specific questions let me know. I've got quite a few J-Phones and being Entertainment Organizer of the UK Japanese society helps
