> Some problems in w810i
Bookmark topic
Hi All,
Few days back i got a new w810i (firmware version r4db005). Now here are the queries that i have :
1: The speaker volume is VERY low compared to my old k750i ( flashed to w800 ). Can this be solved by replacing the acoustics?
2: I went to the service -> service tests -> speaker menu and was surprised to find that increasing the volume there had no effect on the output volume. I mean the test volume was _almost_ same for all bars(slider) except the first one, where the volmue turned very low. I tried the same in my k750i (w800) and there the volume increased in propotion to the bars.
I know this is only test and it doesnt affect the actual ring volume, but still i guess the bars must correspond to volume level. Can you guys check and see if its the same with you?
Is this a firmware problem or a hardware problem?
3: Will covering the lens with scratch-gaurd help? Or it doesnt matter ( Eg. many nokia phones camera lens are uncovered )
4: Is there a way to know the manufacturing date of the phone?
thanks in advance.

The acoustic will do the trick. If this doesnt fix it, the upgrade it. If you want to know the date: take out the battery and look for some letters and number like this: 07w06

Thanks tranced, but Im worried about the "service test" thing.. I notice a _very_ marginal increase(compared to my k750i(w800i) in the sound as the slider goes up. Will this also be solved by the firmware/acoustics? Or is it a hardware problem?
