Hi,

I'm using the Sound Recorder app on the P990i. I have set it to save recorded files to the memory stick. I have about 1.7 GB free on the memory stick.

The problem is that I am not able to locate the recorded sound files stored on the directory structure. I have opened each folder using File Manager app on the phone as well as SE PC Suite.

I am able to play back the files from the list of recently used files in the Sound Recorder app.

Can anyone let me know where to look for the recorded sound files or the default folder used ?

Thanks

myth_old, Nickp990,

Thanks guys. Could find c:\\music\\sounds but not c:\\music\\soundrecordings. Anyways, the files were not anywhere under c:\\music\\ .

Looked under d:\\music\\soundrecordings but not there either.

I got around the problem as follows:

a) Since I could still playback the files from soundrecorder app I sent them from the app via blutooth to another device and then copied the files back.

b) I then changed Soundrecorder preferences to always save files to Memory stick.

c)Now, whenever i use soundrecorder, files get saved in d:\\music\\soundreocrdings .

In short, problem solved by this workaround but looks like a bug in soundrecorder default settings.

Thanks,
