I have a K810i and hence have photomate. Only the one module on the top left is installed and I can view it. All the rest are greyed out, there is an option to download module, but even after I do that, I still can't open it.

When I close photomate and re-open it, the module I have just downloaded has gone and it's greyed out again.

Another question:- is photomate just an information program or does it actually do anything?

It's just some kind tutorial about taking picture with your phone.

Can you remove OEM application content with FAR? I saw some of the files for it, but wasn't sure if I would delete all of it.

I never use FAR.

Check your setting for Java Internet...

Settings>Connectivity>Internet settings>Settings for Java.

Choose to your default Internet Profile.

Then try download the module.

Hope this helps !
