Got a 8 month old T68(m > i conversion).

In the last two months i've had a problem which has now got to the point of the phone being useless.

The signal strength keeps fluctuating between no bars and say 3-4 bars every so often.

I can't make calls, it just goes beep beep beep. no one can call me (diverts to voicemail).

I can be anywhere in the town. I can put my sim into another phone in the same location and its fine.

Is this a known problem? It's really driving me mad now

Cheers

which firmware version does your phone have?

you check the firmware by pressing: right * left left * left *

I had the same problem and took the phone to an SE service center. They replaced it after checking it.

and update to the latest (R5D007) firmware will probably stabilize the signal....
