HI,
how many SMS can be saved in the phone - not on the sim - just in the phone - could anybody tell me?
I heard of 1 MB memory - can anybody confirm this?

that 1mb is all the accessible space not just for sms.
u can save roughly 70 sms on the phone, go to Messages>SMS>Memory Status to see how much space you have left.

Saving to SIM depends on the generation of the sim i think.
70 sms saving to sim seems to be very much imho!

on the sim its usually about 10 but that can vary between differents sims.

70 SMS saved into phone memory is great compared to other brands of phone, except Nokia, lots of ther recent phones can store 150SMS. But they miss out on lots of the features that the Sony Ericssons have.
If you store 70SMS in the fone, will ther be no space 4 nefin else???
