When using Blackberry on a handheld like P1, M600 or P990 there is a keylock applied that uses a 4 digit code. That’s the IT policy in the enterprise server that forces you to have it like this due to security. My company always applies that and that’s ok with me...
But... the lock turns on after like 30sec or so, that’s way to fast. My IT department says that they cannot change the time, its default in the phone or/and in the server?
Has anybody found out a way to change the time before looking, either in the phone or in the server?

Appreciate all input

Ps. this apply´s only when using BB

Cheers
Sten

Ok, no answers...

Let me rephrase, does anybody else have the short (around 10 sec) keylock when using BlackBerry Enterprise?

Nope... But I had a similar issue when I used ActiveSync prior to BB's release... With that, it was solved by initially using SwissManagerPro to kill ActiveSync and the SyncSchedular, then you would go into locks and disable the Inactivity Lock, when ActiveSync started again the lock would be inactive and this even continued to work after a reboot!

Not sure if the Blackberry one works in the same way as we dont seem to have that security feature active on our BES...
