1. do i have to use the pen to write sms and things like that or does it work fine just using thumb with everything in the phone.
2. do the lg u990 (viewty) use touchFLO or is it some other "touchFLO like" from lg as gui.
3. Could i get som user input from users with touchFLO i dont like the pen at all and want to do everythinhg ing my finger is that possible.
and would relly like to know how u think of the touchFLO gui

i don't think you can write smses without the use of the stylus though nearly all things can be accomplished without the use of the stylus. the lg viewty uses a gui that is different from TouchFLO.

ok so the viewty has probobly an own built gui.
About the sms texting isnt there an option to use regular (numric) keypad in sms so i can use multitapping.
A had the qtek s100 before and hated that i always had to take out the pen even to click icon on the desk top.
And one more thing does thease devices use optic touch screen like neonode and iphone or is it the ordinary touchscreen that senses pressure.

TouchFLO is a development of HTC. you won't find it in other devices apart from HTC.
TouchFLO is a gui over the existing WM6 OS. And it does just a sort of basic operation. You can start applications and use media player, photos, video etc. but the actual work like writing sms or email etc is still a stylus-based operation of windows mobile.
you have actually the possibility to use a fullscreen virtual keyboard from RESCO. i don't remember the exact name, but i think it's resco keyboard pro...just google it. this keyboard enables you to fully use the screen and your fingers as the keyboard is bigger than the windows mobile own virtual keyboard. you can actually see how it works here in a comparison between the htc touch and the iphone:

check out video...very good one!
