Doesn't it have the same effect as if one selects in Configuration the settings for cache either Small, Medium or Large?

@Nickp990
Excellent trick there, haven't used it myself though mainly because I'm saving up space for my emails. But I get 5mb of cache size by default when I set it to 'large' anyway. Nevertheless, a 10mb cache is awesome though

Still, I think 10MB is a bit over the top. How many web browsing with heavy content do you do to need such a huge cache for returning to the same pages?

And on the other hand, this cache if not emptied (which would counter act to the purpose) will take away from the phones 'working RAM' which is in most cases below 40MB anyways and then leave less then 30 (if one doens't have many apps installed in the phone memory!!!).

But nice trick

Perhaps this is true on paper, but you can try it for yourself. Take note of the remaining space before you manually delete the files in the cache folder, then you'll see that you'll always free 5mb from this action.
