Hi,
I've recently had a W850i upgrade from Vodafone, which unsurprisingly was branded with their Live! software. Yesterday I flashed the latest unbranded firmware onto the phone. All is good, though one thing I miss from the VF fw is how the main keys functioned - they replaced the Wap and ActivityMenu keys with Call and Hang-up (not just in fw, but the keys themselves have different graphics on them).
What I'd like to know is, is it possible to customize these keys (back to how VF had them set) using, say, a version of customize.xml or some other file (and upload with XS++)? Thanks in advance.
P.S. A thought has occurred to me: since I want some VF functionality but SE menus & icons, I could just reflash VF fw and upload original SE menu.ml and layout.xml files. Would this actually work, or am I barking up not only the wrong tree, but I'm in the wrong forest too?
