My first-gen Razr recently kicked the bucket so I'm in the market for a new phone. Of all the people that I've talked to, the only two responses I've received in mass are the iPhone or anything Sony Ericsson. I realize this isn't an iPhone forum, so I don't expect too much commentary on that. I am curious about the different kinds of SEs, and I have absolutely no idea what order they come in or features they brandish.

So, I'm looking for a phone with at least most of the following features:

-Good battery life
-Decent camera. Not printing pictures out or anything, but good enough to post on the internet if I see something neat I want to photo.
-Decent music. Most of what I listen to is classical or 70-80s rock, so I don't need blasting bass or anything.
-Something slim and ergonomic. The Razr was a great size for a phone I think, anything bigger is verging on too much.
-Minor web utilities. I don't need to browse the New York Times, but being able to check RSS feeds, sports scores and weather reports would be nice.
-A pleasant look with a nice screen. Nothing that looks ancient and timeworn.
-Minor game-playing ability. Nothing extraordinary, puzzle games or the like. Just something for mindless fun from time to time.

So, looking at the above requests, what would you recommend to me? Doesn't have to meet every spec, just a decent number of them. I don't care to spend too much on a phone, so the brand-new top-of-the-line stuff is probably out. $300-$350 would be perfect for what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Edit:
If it means anything, I've been looking specifically at the w810 and the w580. Do those sound like they meet what I'm looking for?

W880 seems a pretty decent choice, but it doesn't have a good camera. K550/W610 seems a good alternative too.

Welcome to the forum and good luck buying your new cellphone

im thinking the sony ericsson K550 or W610. Both are slim (14mm), have great cams (2 megapixel autofocus), great mp3 quality (especially W610), both have RSS reader and good enough internet capabilities for what your looking for and of course they both have a few games that are quite fun. Both have great battery life too.

The T650 and W880 are worth looking at too, but are probably out of your price range. Both are even slimmer (T650 12.5mm, W880 9.4!mm).

Does anyone have pictures laying around of the phones that aren't just the stock SE-endorsed shots? I'd love to see what they look like in action, even if it's not a great picture.

So far, looking around on Ebay and SEs site, the W610 and the 810 seem to catch my attention the most. How does the K550 stack up to them in terms of everything aside from pictures?

A lot of the photos look quite nice.

Is there any reason the 580i doesn't seem to get much love? I only ask because I can get it for a really good price by reupping my contract with AT&T which I don't mind doing at all to save a couple hundred bucks on a phone, but only if it's worth it.

Thanks for all the help guys!

@Anno1:
You are from the USA ? A quadband phone suits you best then.
W810, W880, W610,W580 and K550 are all quadband, W850 is tri-band.

The best all-rounder among these phones is still the W810, we have a few very happy W810-users from the USA here on the forum.
