i love the device and would have bought it immediately if there wasn't the slow OMAP proc.
i know, for some basic apps etc it's enough, but why paying already a lot and not being able to use the full power of this very nice device.
i don't know what you use your touch for, but if you're into media like music and video or some intensive programs, then i'd advise you to...overclock it.
there are some interesting tools and threads.
a good site is xda-developers.
do you use any third-party full screen thumboards like resco keyboard pro?

even though the raw speed of the cpu isn't the best out there, i read some reviews, that the touch is actually the fastest pda with the TI OMAP 200MHz proc...not bad..and i think with some tweaking you can actually get a very good and responsive device..

I've owned about 7/8 different htc phones and I know 200 mhz isnt going to be enough my current one is 400 and It still struggles at times... Good device though but I wouldn't buy it because I run too many applications simultaneously

maybe the qualcomm 400MHz CPU that HTC uses in the kaiser, sorry TYTN II must be finally an adequate processor
