its more of a hardware bug really, sometimes when i havent used to camera button for an hour or so and i press it its kind of stuck and i have to press it harder till it makes a "click" noise and then its back to normal - soft press = focus, hard press = capture
its not that big of a problem just want to know if theres a way to sop it doing this ?

pareng Skrue.. wots up with the personal ringtone bug?! its the first tym ive heard that.
and about the stuck up camera button... guess you should bring it back to the shop if you still have the warranty. any hardware probs you cannot fix at the moment if you have a warranty... dont waste it.

@rocks - bro, its when you've assigned a personal ring tone for different contacts but still hear the 'normal' ringtone of the phone when these personalized peolple call. my old k800i had the same problem but a software upgrade fixed it. however, there is no known new upgrade for the k810 from seus...still R1k. anyways, i just upgradeed via wotan to R6b though i haven't had the time to check if it works or not. ill check it out later.

its not so much stuck it just clicks sometimes after not so much use...i cant really be bothered taking it back and might just keep it as its quite handy cos i dont press it accidentaly

My shutter button is actually pretty soft. No clicking. If I were to compare it to some sort of button, I'd have to say it's the same feeling as pressing an A or B button on a original GameBoy or Nintendo controller.... but I guess that'd be the same for any game console controller.
Definitely different from the tactile feel you get from pressing one of the numeric buttons though.
I personally don't mind the soft feel. I've handled a few digi-cams, so I know the deal about pressing the button half way to focus, then a full press to take the shot.

I don't have a problem with the camera button or anything like that. It may just be yours.

ugh oh well....this isn't a serious problem is it...e.g. its not damaging the phone long term or anything no? i mean the button works fine apart from this its just after not using it the button seems to stick in the like "unpressed" mode and i have to press a little harder....
i remember my mums old w800 you could focus in normally but then when you pressed it further to capture it wouldnt feel as though you were pressing it but the picture would take...and hers lasted 18 months like this
