Hi,

I have been using my K750i for like two months then yesterday I noticed something odd in the view finder. When you hold the phone horizontally and open the shutter(for taking pictures) the top half of the view is brighter than the bottom half. This does correct itself after like 5 seconds. But its clearly visible... Is this normal? I don't know because in the two months I have used the phone I haven't seen this happen

Thanks

hi

well, if you upload a pic it would be better. you probably get much brightness because the light is coming from them. you can adjust the EV values to change that.

The thing is I can't capture it... in the time the auto focus is done the problem is already gone... it is possible to capture it in video recording but it isn't visible much. it like this :

Then the normal part sort of like fades into the brighter area then you can't see the difference... I think its in the software.. also it happens in low light like not that low but like inside a house...

As I said I can't.. it goes away in 5 seconds and cannot be captured into a photo.. however I am able to simulate this using Paint.NET. I changed the Lightness to 12 and it seem to give the same result as I see in the view finder.

http://www.chiranthasoft.cq.hk/phone/DSC00689EE.jpg <- this is what I would see in the view finder just as I opened the shutter.. look closely there is a lightness separation.. thats what I'm complaining about :/

Not really, I've taken over 600 pictures with that phone in my room and I have never seen it happen.. I surggest you take yours to the service center like I did just now. Its really not correct, I can callange anyone.. get a new K750i and compaire.. I'm 100% sure that it won't have it... I didn't have until yesterday!

Night mode doesn't really matter actualy... it even happens when without night mode... and even with night mode it happens.. its like someone is holding a darked lens at the bottom side of the camera for 5 seconds.. and then taking it off..
