Go make an new SMS.. start typing and then you want to insert someones phonenumber... how to do it easy.. ??
There was no insert in the Message application.. so I went to contact list went to contact , then edit it to be able top copy phone number. then back to SMS and there is no paste available in the message... arghh canceled the message. started a new one.. and now i could paste the phone number..
Any one, is there an eaysier way to do it ?

you could send the contact as a sms to someone.
however, you can copy/past etc. but it depends on your phone.
*+1=copy
*+2=cut
*+3=paste
you'll have to copy the number 1st using the contact list.
than start new sms, and past with *+3 (believe it's * could be #)

..If you open a contact in the list ("show" or something), you can pick more->copy contact. And get a string with the numbers, name, and so on.

after following this sequence, the paste option
is available on the P1 but only if I make sure I am located in the body text and not in the "to:" field.
might be worth double checking this on the P990? (Unless its something they fixed on P1 but I'm sure I did that on my M600 previously)

On p990 'paste' is available in both fields.

oh yeah, so it is. I forgot to click the "to" field before trying to do a paste
it works then, but shame there is not something a little more direct

Yup, so for many cases its easier to just 'remember' the number and write it in directly
