Ok, I know the answer to most of these will probably end up being "check this thread out *link*". Sorry if that's the case. I haven't been able to find them (and YES, I did search repeatedly).

Anyhow, I'm trying to figure out how to find out what my CID is. I've been able to find everything else (even went into the service menu with >*[EDIT]
---> OK, with XS++ found out it's CID 49 (on both counts).
---> After many contradictory posts, I was wondering if FM works
-- with K800i & CID 49... if no, is there a way to change files et al
-- without bruteXS hacking? ie. a faster, more efficient way?

Also, I was wondering if I can somehow CHANGE the customization files to something else (currently M-East & N-Africa)... it's kind of annoying to have english and arabic as language options (even though I don't speak/read arabic). If it is possible, how?

One other question (I already mentioned it somewhere else, but might as well mention it here): The camera doesn't save pics onto a 2GB M2 card (Sandisk) - doesn't happen with a 1GB Sony one.


Anyhow, I'd like to say thank you in advance for any help on these lil' "issues"... and again, sorry for any annoyance they might cause...

A few notes: I already DLed XS++ (1.6.8 Beta) and FarManager (1.70), as well as SEFP (010051).

It's a fully "free" phone - no operator or anything attached (bought that way, back in the summer of 2006).

Nope... that's exactly my problem... if I set it to save on the card NOTHING gets saved... I have to set it on th phone mem to get pics...

hehe... I wasn't wondering about that... I just thought I'd add it along with all the other system info I put up...

Ok, I updated my main&fs fw (to R1GB001 - european) and my customization (also europe)... thanks for the pointers to those threads btw... I'd read them before but couldn't figure out most of 'em... particularly the one that's titled something FAR but links to an XS++ thread (talk about confusing). Eventually I found what I needed in them though... heh.

[NEW QUESTIONS]
Yes.. I am an endless source of querrying uselessness... anyhow... so, some new questions popped up:

1) Sound/Media Player Questions:
- Is it possible to skin the K800 media player? If so, are there any skins available? (after reading through http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=3876&st=860 I suspect it's still a WIP?)
- Are there other EQ presets available? Has anyone managed to "port" the megabass from the W series to the K800?
- I've read quite a few comments about how the W850 acoustics make little difference to the sound of the K800... are there any that DO make it better? Perhaps from the W880 or such? And if so, where could I find these?

- Is there a thread where I can find menus for the K800 (at least labelled as such)? I've only managed to find 2, with the rest (unlabeled) not for the K800 (after having tried them).
