> W850i on 3 unlocking + debrand

has anyone had any problems debranding and unlocking the w850i locked to the 3 network or is as straightforward as all other networks. I know you can't use a 3 sim after but this is thye first 3 i am attempting. Any help would be appreciated.

imo u can use the 3 sim card in it, without any problems... its a umts fone, so why should it be a problem? i use 3 sim in e60 and 3 dont even sold that model. u can also access planet3 etc after it, u just have to use the right settings ( take another w850 on 3 and copy it )

thank for all your help but went ahead and did it anyway. worked a treat. the phone was locked to 3 now it has sony ericcson sofware and will take any sim. was pretty straight forward
