When editing a contact, and tried to add voice tag, my phone says "Speak after the tone", but I don't hear any tone!
I was able to add a voice tag, after random recording, but when I tried to play the voice tag, I hear nothing!
When i tried to voice dial, it says "Speak after the tone", but I hear no tone!
When I tried to edit a contact voice tag, the voice tag is replaced even without pressing the "Save" button!

This might happen if you have connected a Bluetooth headset as the sound is played then in the headset and not the phone.
Make sure you have turned the bluetooth or the headset OFF before recording voice tags

my phone's speaker is useless?

you are correct. but the phone should be like at least an inch away from your ear before you can hear it.
