> K850i or iPhone?

I am planning to get a new phone but I got a dilema between K850 and iPhone.
Reasons for getting k850:
5MP camera, inc. flash
auto-rotate function
good looking phone (smaller than iPhone)
Reasons for getting iPhone:
Wifi
Touchscreen
Has an OS (operating system) which means ability to install loads of softwares, where as k850 is limited to Java apps.
Which phone do you think I should buy? and what phone would you buy if you were in my situation?

The iphone doesnt really count as having a "proper" os. Apple will be the only company making addittions to the software.
if i were you, i would wait for the w960i, symbian is much more versatile.

As mentioned the W960i is a better comparison to the iphone and is what i would plump for as the iphone has to many strings attached for me!

Come on, you wouldn't want to stick with a crappy 2Mp no-flash camera AND to have to buy your ringtones in addtition to the song on iTunes.

Id suggest the k850. We dont know when the iphone is due here if your in the uk. You can get a apple touch for the web surfing and scrolling (the best bit of the iphone) on the side.

If you want wifi and a touchscreen why not get a P1i? Think that has a decent 3.2mp camera too!

The advantage of wi-fi diminishes when compared to HSDPA - so generally there isn't that much of a difference.
The iPhone does things differently and isn't as capable as the K850i but its a lot nicer to use apparently; they're aimed at different buyers.
If features aren't important then you'd probably be more impressed with the iPhone because its a new device and a novelty right now, with an immense wow factor but its usability is cripped compared to other phones from established manufacturers.
Simple things like managing your photo album on the go, shooting a video and sharing media are surprisingly absent. If you want the iPhone, get the iPhone and if you can't stomach it then sell it (its resale factor will be high) and you'll be able to plumb for the K850i which is out on PAYG from what I believe and by that time will be cheaper anyway.

's only fashion phone ATM is the S500 I think
