Hi,

I had my phone for 2 months and suddenly the top part of the display got brighter than the bottom and I took it to the service center where they found that there was something wrong with the phone software. They flashed the phone. Now that problem is gone but now the night mode in the video capturing mode is like not there (there is little difference). The picture mode is fine and the night mode looks more colorful... but in the video capturing mode the picture looks horrible even with or without night mode.

Shouldn't the picture brightness and contrast be the same on both video mode and picture mode when night mode is turned on?

hi Chirantha,

I have seldom shot movies in the dark but i can tell there is indeed little difference between night mode and normal mode. This difference is mostly noticeable on still shots (pictures).

I don't think your new firmware is to blame here, it's a generalized problem.
