I bought a SE P1i in HKG. Under the P1i cover it seems to be a P1c (chinese version) with chinese virtual keyboard, no internet connection via WIFI, ... Tried to change the language on SE support site but to no success. CDA162024/74 R6A. Please help!

The P1c is supposed to be the variant of P1i, to be released in China. Since China doesn't have 3G set up yet, there probably won't be a video camera in the front.
Other than that, there shouldn't be any other difference from the P1i.

easiest way to actually check.
1)Front camera= p1i
2)on the standby screen, press More and select status(right softkey and 4th or 5th option). It will say p1i or p1c under model number

P1i wi fi is very good it works very well fast and efficient! just use opera for viewing websites with heavy graphics. sony ericson got aexcellent wi fi for the p1i
