Bookmark topic
Hi friends,
I changed my fone from K750i to W580i, with a g8 expectation of sound quality. But while selecting Mega Bass, the beats are cut-off
I dont know why!!!. Friends please share your thoughts on this...

In MegaBass mode, it produces gud bass only at very low volume...if u increase it, bass will be cut-off entirely:-(....the very same mp3 was palying very beautifully in my old K750i. I checked this with any number of mp3's having gud beats...am very sad now...

The early release of Sony Megabass capable phone does not featured a function called:
Infamous Auto Gain Control.
it's a function that cuts off excess noise that will produce smooth and undistorted sounds. however, frankly speaking, the AGC feature in walkman phone is simply worse than those offered in soundcard / audio products.
i've come across 2 W810i which bought at different year. the first batch does not have this AGC, however, the identical W810 which is bought a year after have this symptomps.
hence, i've come across a way to remove it.
that is to modify the whole acoustic driver.
so far i know, any phone made after the W550 should have this.
unless the first batch of the W810 that i've heard.
(K750, W800 and W550 1st and 2nd
Phone does not experience this) however, firmware update possibly could trigger a change towards the acoustic driver.

switch to n91. it has the proper audio chips. not a fancy, fooling-marketing strategy WALKMAN logo. I've been a loyal SE fan. until getting the true music phone.
