do you know of any instant messaging application in development for the p800? i mean, supporting msn messenger, aol, icq and such (at least msn messenger for me).

i have one for my father's accompli 008. it's of course j2me. will it (and other j2me apps) be installable in p800?

Sure it will. But i think it's better if it's written in symbian c++. It already exists several apps like that written for the 7650 and if this could be ported to the p800, that would be nice. Or maybe it would be better to write a new one especially for the p800. All the apps will come, just don't expect too much too soon. These things takes time to develop. This program sounds like trillian for the PC. Is there a port to the p800? If so, Would you mind giving us a link?

I don't think that P800 will come with Mophun support. However, there will be a Mophun Runtime Engine for Symbian, so you will be able to install it on P800 and then play Mophun games on it.
