After owning nearly every s60 nokia device this time i decided to go with the p1i over the n95.

pretty happy at the moment bar a few major issues.

Activesync will not sync with my owa email (had same issue on e61i) so i was going to use system7, but they dont yet have a uiq client (should have checked that!!) so now im stuck, i really need my email on the move (my provider 3 ireland wont support blackberry connect) so are there any other options?

ALso wondering what are the must have applications for uiq?

And is tomtom6 working ok on p1i?

So.. you can connect, read mail and so on, but you can't sync? Or you can check status, but can't connect? Or..?

Capturescreen, Imageconverter, Mobileftpd (for dumping and retrieving files on a home- network over wlan, or a vpn- connection, perhaps), Opera mini beta 4, and.. ScummVm for uiq.

There isn't some domain you're supposed to log on to? A.. /domain/e-mail, or something of that sort in the user Id..?

had the same problem, mine was solved with other provider settings,
it was the proxy server that jammed it

try that plz, without a proxy server

im not using proxy settings (i presume you mean in my data connection)

Have you checked the DNS settings on your connection? I had some email problems because they weren't correctly setup.

no dns settings either, three ireland settings are very very basic
