I have a SE K800i on O2 and have always been able to send and receive MMS without problem, Since 4 days ago I have not been able to receive MMS, I just get the O2_Alert message to check online. I can still send MMS. I've already tried downloading all the settings from both the O2 website and Sony Ericsson website to no avail, please help!
PS I upgraded my phone (which is out of stock so I haven't got yet) and tariff 2 days before I noticed I wasn't receiving media messages, don't know if that makes any difference, I should still be able to receive them shouldn't I?

sometimes with O2 it does make a difference if you remove sim.
put in different phone.
select a network like orange (which is not possible) next select 02 again.
remove sim, put back in k800 ... now see what it does

Thanks for the suggestion but I rang O2 yesterday, they said it was because I wasn't using the 3G sim they sent me and activated it for me and to wait 24 hours, keep sending myself a media message every so often to try.
24hours later - this morning, I was fed up of using my text allowance sending myself messages that I knew were going to fail so I rang up again, here's the number if anyone else has this problem 08706003009 and choose option 3 Technical problems. I explained everything to the lady on the phone so said she'd have a look on my account, and lo and behold there was an item on my account stopping me from receiving mms. she said the person that changed my tarriff last week must've put it on there by mistake. So she removed it and said it might take 24 hours at the most for it to remove but she'd ring me when it had gone and go through with me the settings.
So half an hour later I tried to send myself a picture and it worked! She still hasn't rang me but it doesn't matter because at least it's working now
I don't think it's fair that I've been paying out trying to test it and people have been wasting their money trying to snd me pictures when it was O2s fault in the first place!
