I need a help,
I updated my K800i on SEUS last june,
its firmware turned to R1JG001
and i read on the internet that there is a new version R1KG001
i try to update my phone at SEUS last week but it says that my phones firmware is already updated.
what should i do to have that R1KG001
firmware.

i've read some in post that the update has something to do if the phone is branded or not. well, mine is not. i can't use wotan because it does need credits,i don't have any credit card to use in buying credits.

is there any way to update my phone to R1KG001 with SEUS?
and what good changes does R1KG001 done to k800i?

Flash your phones with XS++. With that program you can choose which firmware to use . But you will lose everything from the phone memory. And after all, you can use XS++ to convert your K800 to K810 and have newer firmware than R1KG001 - the R6BC002.

i downloaded sa xs++ already
how i'll use it to update my phone?

and how do i put the files back to my phone after i flashed it.

pre-installed games comes from the firmware itself.. no need to back them up coz theyll be there after re-flash.

backing up data from phone to PC is very easy with MyPhoneExplorer.

use it as if you were using the PC suite that came with SE phones.

youll just need to download the firmware files:

MAIN & FS files.... pertaining the region specific to your phone.
(i.e. APAC, CHINA, EU1-EU4, AMERICA, etc etc)

using XS++ in flashing doesnt need to connect to the internet... and finalization using FAR manager...

you said your phone is K800, like the other poster said, you can make you K800 to become K810. doing the same process but using files for K810. and customized light effects for K800. after that, youre good to go.
