> Yamaha PC Speakers - need advice

Hi!
I got a pair of Yamaha speakers yst m20dsp and recently the left speaker makes a low humming noise.
I have checked all connections and they are good, the speakers are not near to TV's etc and the left is about one foot away from my ADSL box.
The volume is not set ridiculously load....
But even if I move that speaker 6 foot away there is still a humming noise.
Any ideas? Time to get new speakers?

various things to test. try headphones in the same socket you plug the speakers into.
no humming noise? if not its your speakers.
ALSO try swapping the speakers over. does the same one still hum? if its still the same side its the amp, if not its that actual speaker

Yep, speakers not good. Tried them on a friends PC and also other devices - MD-player and left speaker is faulty...
Oh well! Time to buy a nice new set!
