I just part skinned my K800, by putting the W900 walkman background (extracted from w900 main with se extractor) saved as gif and named fullscreen_back.gif in the K800 tpa/system/multimdia/mp folder, and it worked.
There is a BIG bug, I had to advance through the tracks like 20 times before the Walkman background appeared, until it did it was just black (not the normal colour of K800 media player).
use a gif of 240x236 pixels if you want to try your own

I don't think we'll ever see mega bass in K800. it's not gonna be easy to extract like images or text and xml files.
But atleast we can work on aesethetics

well these images are extracted from MAIN firmware, not fs, but they are just images, firmware code is a whole other story.
What I really want is a K800 background that I can edit to look like Walkman. Then I'll know it's exactly the correct dimensions. But I can only extract icons from W900 main firmware image.

did you mean tpa/system/MULTIMEDIA/mp
thats right folder
i do that but my skin is now only black
