Well, I've only had my new K810i for about 3 weeks, and this is a new problem for me. Over the past 2 weeks, I've been noticing that I've been getting interference on my calls. When I hear it on my end, it sounds like the person on the other end is using an old-school cordless phone and they are walking out of range from their charging cradle. Their voice starts to crack. I also sometimes hear a buzzing sound, as if some sort of radio-frequency is cutting in and out.

Now, usually, this was happening to me when I called my friend in Texas. I could barely hear my friend. She would hang up, and call me again, to no avail.

Me (Rogers Wireless, Vancouver Canada).
Friend (T-mobile, El Paso, Texas)

I just thought it was either one of our networks, or maybe because I would be playing my PS3, and the bluetooth controller was maybe the cause.

Then today, my dad called me from Ontario. I could hear him fine, but he would complain. He described the interference exactly as I always heard when I was talking to my friend in Texas and couldn't hear her at all. I wasn't playing my PS3 at the time, so I ruled that out. I moved into another room in my house to no avail. My dad was using a cordless, so he tried switching to a landline phone, to no avail. Needless to say, we finished our conversation, and I pondered. I tried calling him back directly (without using a call-in long-distance server), and he could hear me with no problems.

I've read numerous posts about EFR or EHR settings, but have yet to find anything that will allow me to change it on my k810.

Any suggestions?

have you tried just switching your sim card into another handset to see if you still get the interference? If not give that a try, then at least you know its a network issue.

worth a call to Rogers Customer services if it keeps happening....
