I need HELP fixing my brand new unlocked phone i bought it is a W900i White color and the error im getting is that when i try to use the camera to take pictures it gives me a message saying Please Close the phone to use the camera so tell me please how to fix it thank you Please HELP ME
how could u get me a link please? cuz i couldnt find a updator that would work and i think it might be cause i changed the housing so plesae get me a link for setup thanks

www.sonyericsson.com look for update service there. But as you mentioned you have changed the house, it may be a hardware problem. Check the contacts where the camera is attached to the mainboard. If you are sure there is good contact, try the firmware update.

I'm thinking it could be waht Strizlow suggests, something to do with the camera connecting to the mainboard - though if the phone thinks the phone is open, it could be you didn't transfer something from the old case?
Often the phone detects whether the phone is open or closed on sliders/flips/swivels with a small magnet somewhere on the swivel or where it meets the rest of the phone whilst closed, it could be this magnet hasn't been swapped over so the phone thinks it's open all the time.

ive heard this a couple of times with refurb W900's....
