Has anyone got any suggestions as to what i can use to automatically set ringtone-profiles based on calendar events?
in a business setting, when a meeting comes up, i'd like ringtones to automatically switch to silent.
Unusually the p1i doesnt do this.

That used to be possible with Magic Profiles for UIQ 2.x, but I've been told that a UIQ 3 version won't be possible.
This is surely something that SE should implement in their smartphones by default?

I agree, it is common sensible smartphone behaviour.
I have resorted to really low-volume tones for things, which defeats the purpose.
Some might say - just silence it yourself. But whats the point of a 'smart' phone if you have to do that?

What about silent ring and vibration? I used to do that...but you have to set it, it's not automatic.
