Hi,

Here is my new camera driver for the (forgotten) SE K550i.
I'm happy to be (almost) the first one starting this thread !

What is changing in this release ( called V2.4 by Chris ) :

-------------------------------------------

release a/ 13 09 2007
1. VR is set to average 24 fps instead of 10 fps (up to +30fps !)
2. Fine quality settings :
all pictures , compression is set from 85% to 95%
1632x1224 size, quality improved
3. Sharpening set to maximum

-------------------------------------------

release b/ 21 09 2007
1. VR is set to average 24 fps instead of 10 fps (up to +30fps !)
2. Enhanced night mode (EM) from Raiderski
note : you have to be in "dark portrait" mode in order to use EM,
and be warned that it is still a bit unstable !
(fine qual and sharpening from previous version REMOVED)

-------------------------------------------

release c/ 23 09 2007
1. VR is set to average 24 fps instead of 10 fps (up to +30fps !)
when the light is poor, fps rate IS FALLING DOWN.
(all other modifications have been removed)

-------------------------------------------

release d/ 05 10 2007
1. Official Sony camdriver version 2.2 from 22 12 2006
This is the official old 2.2 release, before Sony set the VR back to 10fps
(up to 30fps), but when light is poor fps is falling down.

-------------------------------------------

release e/ 17 10 2007
1. VR is set to CONSTANT 24 fps
when the light is poor, fps rate STAYS to 24 fps.
(NO OTHER modifications, all is from original driver)

tip : to go back to normal fps mode (for pictures), just
close lens cover and open it again.

PowerLee maybe original photos are nott good but k750i original camdrivers are not good too (for example). Of course talking about bad cam module is effortless solution but somebody tries to increase quality of photos this same way like in k750i so if you don't want help please don't post that questions. k550i has good cam module and I believe somebody will show you that soon. And chris067 is closer than anybody

Hey that's nice for those who have K550 . Mainly for the sharpness of the pictures imo. Anyway the driver should be great to improve the video recording of the K550. As the new SE phones have poor video recording parameters in their factory drivers which make the video poor quality when the phone can record much better one.

Here are 2 pictures.
1st one original driver,
2d one modded driver.
There is not much difference at all, so i'll reverse some properties to original.
