Hi all i sold a ipod nano on ebay the other day for £65 and the guy paid up all going well...

Yesterday i posted the ipod at 12.30pm... still everything ok...

1.30pm comes and i recieve an email from paypal saying that the payment has a temporary hold on it and when i click for more details it says "Transaction has been reversed" WTF is that all about???

I messaged paypal kicking off and i provided all the information they wanted but im still waiting for a responce??

Also the D*ckhead who bought the ipod has done a runner!

Can anyone tell me whats happened to my money??

Am f*cked off now.

Cheers

did you send to a confirmed address?

also what postal service did you use, do you have the tracking information, paypal will ask for tracking codes.

I got screwed by PP about a year ago for £300+, took 7 months to sort out, i hate PP with a passion, they are more or less unregulated, impossible to contact normally via the phone, I NEVER post stuff untill AFTER the PP cash has cleared into my bank, and i link a DEBIT card with fixed funds to my PP account so it's impossible for them to reverse or chargeback in relation to it!!

good advice about waiting until the funds have cleared in your bank account, but i have to say that i have always found paypal to be very helpful and always got through on the phone...

If you have a tracking number and sent to a confirmed address then you should be ok. You can also request the guys details, including his phone number, from ebay. Give him a call.
