Hi,

I got my old K750 replaced due to an un-fixable problem. In my new K750 when I move the phone or shake it I see lines appearing on the display its like sort of waves. Does this mean the new phone is defective?

Thanks

Try and get the screen replaced.

What do you mean by lines and waves? It could just be that by moving the phone it shows up the screen refreshing itself - a bit like how you see your TV through a digicam/cam phone viewfinder when it 'flickers'.

well what it seems like is the pixels are lose within the display. So when the phone gets vibration it sort of like moves like grass making a very thin black line between the two pixels. The annoying part is.. even if I keep the phone very steady and walk the smallest shock in the walking causes it to show the waves.. its really visible when I play a game while traveling by bus... as the bus shakes the lines come up. I'm 200% sure it I played games on my old K750 in the bus while moving and a single line didn't come up. My worry is my friends don't see it but I do! The lines are horizontal when you hold the phone for a call and vertical when taking a photo (aka doesn't change direction).

oh yes, its looks like the lines come up when the phone refreshes the display (its not vibration, its movement). I don't understand why I see it in this phone and not my old one :S but its not big lines, they are very thin. And there are ALOT of them, each between two pixels, so does this mean the phone display is not refreshing fast enough? (otherwise it wouldn't have been visible).

Hmmm, could be a mild problem/fault - has the phone had a new display at all, could be a non-gen LCD.

I think I have a W800i with a similar problem, doesn't obscure what's on the LCD but is noticeable.

Well also my keypad is green colored for some reason :S (when the brightness is at 50%). And no the phone is brand new out of the box..

Hi

I notice that there are some lines in mine, but this started when i changed my display driver. I mean, i never noticed this when i had the original display driver. I think i could get the original for you, but not today.

There is no need for the driver to alter it self isn't it? that is if it is out of the box. I'll be going to the service center tomorrow.
