just got k610 on vodafone and when i ring people thay say they can hardly hear me but i can hear them fine eny help would be great

Sounds like a microphone fault, hopefully it's not a hardware fault as those built-in mics are nigh-on impossible to replace!

Try doing a firmware update via the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) and see if that helps at all.
