Not sure about laminating it like this, but on previous phones I've actually preferred texting with silicone cases than without. Still to find one for the P1 at a decent price though (Not sure how well it would work with the keyboard either)

Crap. I use to have that 10 years ago on a normal cellphone. When you have touchscreen, you c an't use it properly with that on. Also, I don't use screen protection for the same reason. It's screen is scratch resistant and I'm not gonna keep this phone forever.

I wonder how can we extract the SIM card and memory card from that laminated phone, and what about the connector holes and the jog dial? Nevertheless I used a screen protector on my device to prevent it from smudges and scratches without hampering its usability whatsoever.
