I lost my camera on a flight from Ankara, Turkey to Frankfurt/Fraport.
This all happened about 2 weeks ago, I'm
entirely sure I left the camera on a plane. We were the last off it and immediatley afterwards the cleaners came on board the aircraft.
The flight was operated by Turkish although it had a Lufthansa flight number so that messes things up as well.
As soon as I realised that the camera was on the plane (was in the terminal at this point, duty free area) I went straight over to airport information for help. They pointed me over to the gate where the same plane was going to leave for it's next flight but it proved to be pointless as it couldn't be found.
So anyway, I've got numbers for Turkish, Lufthansa, Fraport and Heathrow lost & found and had rung them nearly every day for one week and they said that it hadn't been located. I don't know what to do now as Heathrow hasn't contacted me back like they said they would and the number I've bene given tells me to contact my airline for assisstance.
Oh, and I think it's worth mentioning the camera was small (Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8), so that doesnt rule out theft by anyone, i.e. the cleaners.
If anyone can help me on this one please, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

No travel insurance.
It's crap that I dont have the photos here but they are all backed up (every last one) on my aunts computer there. That's pretty much the only reason why I'm not majorly freaking out abut this.

Man, that sucks. If it's stolen, it'll possibly not be recovered. If lost however, there is a chance that it be found. It may already be registered on a lost & found office on one of the airports, but you may have to go pursue it yourself, rather than simply asking through the telephone.

Thanks lastikcizme!
I was told I would be given a call back from Heathrow and I can't really pursue it in person as Heathrow is an hour away from my house and it's pointless to go to Germany over a camera.
Even though the photo's are backed up, I still lost the camera and would really like it back.
