Hey yeah it was like that but for the video not the picture so you could record in 320x240 and change the bitrates and things like that too make the video recording better!!!

i know there is a camdriver able to record better than the stock one. i saw a video where the recording fps is good enough(like 30fps).

There is no way to make K750/K800 record at 320x240, it's simply not possible. The only video mod available for K750 and K800 is to increase the frame rate. You need to read through the K800 camera driver modding thread.

why is it not possible though the k800 can decode 320x240 video at 445kbps so it can encode it at half that atleast! it has the power to do it!:( can you not increase the bitrate with and the fps then that would be better than nothing i suppose?!?

it has graphics hardware designed for it. Why SE don't support better video recording is anyone's guess. But let's look at the SE handsets that do have qvga recording (W900, P990) they have nvidia graphics chips.
So IMHO lack of qvga video recording in K800 is not a firmware issue. SE simply haven't built the phone powerful enough.

Video playback is a direct link between two mainboard components (processor and display). Video recording involves buffering of data from the camera module cmos sensor. There are buffering and bus speed issues that don't come into playback performance.
You say it has the power to do it. You are making a bit of an assumption there, and I can tell you it takes more processing to save all those images from the video stream than it does to simply display then in a video playback.
Even on your computer you can play video much faster than you can save a similar quality video stream
