my w810i just turned off all of a sudden for no reason. when i turn on, a white screen blinks every 10 seconds or so. tried removing the battery and sim and tried again. but no avail.

Try to update it on SEUS. If it not works after that you have to take it to a servicepoint

Have you tried keeping the battery out for 10-15 minutes? I did that with a K800i that started doing that and it then started working fine.

If that doesn't fix it try the firmware update as already suggested, or it could be a service centre job if that doesn't work either!

SEUS update? but i already have R4EA031. it was the FW when i bought it.

BTW, i had flashed my fone using xs++ and FAR manager for changing the camera drivers, flash menus .... and also applied a few patches.
so is it safe to try SEUS ???

mine had the same problem a few weeks ago but its fine now!
Just flash the main firmware or your fs
and the problem would be resolved!
