i dont think i can have it repaired under warranty but is there a way to remove the scratch on the glass?
some solution or LCD protector you can suggest?

Not sure what country you're in, but a lot of online stores sell something called "Displex", it's supposed to remove scratches from phone/ipod screen, although I can't comment on it as I've never used it.
If you want a screen protector, then martin fields ones are supposed to be the best. But I walked into my local O2 shop and bought a pack of Fellowes screen protectors, they come in a pack of 5 and you can cut them to size.

All they had in the O2 shop on display was the ones for the XDA Orbit, so I asked the guy behind the counter. The fellowes ones are £4.99 for a pack of 5. I have one on both my phones, you can't even notice they are there. No fingerprints on my screen!
