Hello, I'm using a K750i right now, but the joystick is quitting on me and the screen is gathering dust. So I'm looking for a new phone.

I've been going back and forth between the W950i and the W580i. I dig the touchscreen and 4 gb internal memory of the W950i, but I like the slider form factor and graphic design of the W580i. The fact that the W950i doesn't have a camera is no problem to me since the only part of the cam on the K750i I actually used were the LED lights and the both haven't got any.

I just want a phone that is good at playing music and on which you can watch short episodes of tv series. Which one should I get? I have to say that I can get the W950i for €179,00 and that the W580 costs €259,00.

So which one to get? Oh and Nokia or Samsung phones are a big NO, I don't get the menustructure of those phones, it took me half an hour to text message on a nokia and I got lost in the menustructure of my brothers D900.

For your needs, the W950. It is a much better phone, considering you don't use the camera.

I like the W580 more, but considering your needs, the W950 is the phone for you.

This is senseless. This is like a java vs symbian thread.

The word is "meaningless" and no, it's not. The fact that W950 uses Symbian is irrelevant here.

Ok. You right. I've had a w950 and this is basically oriented for music playback. The w580 is, haven't had it, pretty childish. And probably its keys get broken as the s500.

Hey, thnx guys. You made it clear for me. Just one more question and I won't bother you guys any more

How fast are those 2 phones? Comparable with my K750i? I really hate slow phones, I had a Motorola E398 before my K750i, it was so sluggish in the menus and whilest typing an sms that I got really frustated within 5 min of using it. I don't want that to happen to my new phone.

Oh and I read a few reviews about both phones, doesn't really make it clear to me, some people say teh W950i is very stable and fast, some people say it's buggish and slow. And to make it even more confusing, the say the same about the W580i.

Thnx Guys.

I know what you mean, my mum's Moto E770 is TERRIBLE! The W950 is actually pretty fast, and the W580 is fast too (from what I hear, I have never used the W580)

Thnx, I think I'll be getting a W950i very soon. Kinda want the new W960i or Iphone too, but they will be almost 3 to 4 times as expensive as the W950i at the place I'll be getting it. And I'm a poor student so that's a big no
