Hi, this is my first post!

I'm looking for any software which will let me send/receive emails from gmail account (pop3). The only software I can find so far is SEVEN's always-on mail. I got a free trial from http://www.workoutofoffice.com/software/internet_edition/ and loved it, however the trial has now expired and I'd love to find the same software for free.

Any suggestions welcome.

Alison

Does the free application perform auto sync or do you have to perform manual send/receive all the time?

I'm looking for a simple to use application which performs automatic sync and is free. The only thing I can find which meets my needs is the Always-On Mail software, but there must be something for free....surely?

If you are interested, U can use BlackBerry on your P990i. The sofware is available on SE web site for free, but you have to pay for the service from your provider.

Checkout more info on this thread..

I'd go with the free Gmail app.Its pretty fast.Try it out www.gmail.com/app or use the phones default email client.Just google your pop3 settings.

The inbuilt email setup can be set to update at set intervals as well as being restricted to any time of day if you so desire.

it will work with IMAP and POP3. Setup is pretty simple too. Plus you can make it display the number of unread mails on the standby screen.
