Like Nokia phones are "MADE IN FINLAND OR MADE BY NOKIA " so where is SE Phones Made ???
For example : - Where has the W580i and P1i been made ?

the p series are usually made in france ( it was at lesat so in the past ) the other models in china now a days, maybe also some still in malaysia

phones are made in china (like most things nowadays). The touch screen se's (including the P1i) are mainly made in france.

Prototype are the INITIAL-releases right? I mean prior to market-launch ?

Sorry but i thought according to a lot of peoples posts that the P1 is made in China unlike the previous P series that were mainly made in France.
Nokia's comes in 2 variants either Made in Finland or they say Made by Nokia which tend to be the APAC versions mainly. All of mine in the UK have all been Made in Finland.

belgian nokia's are made in germany, hungary and only the high end ones in finland.
When it says made by the brand it self, then its made by a factory working for the company. not a prototype.
and again we are talking about SE vs nokia. why not involve motorola? they make very good phones, they'll make phones that are better then SE starting 2008
