Hello people :0)
Dies anyone know of any software i can use to unlock my phone that i got offa ebay ??
The git that sold me it said it was unlocked but it seems to be only on 3
:0(
ive put my o2 sim into it and it says " insert correct USIM" :0(
please help anyone

I think Davinci team can unlock it. They do charge about 50 euros though.

If you paid via paypal, then it's better to file a claim for "item not as described", send it back and get a refund. Rather than faffing about trying to unlock it.

I knwo somewhere where you can unlock the phone for £5, but you probably wont knwo where it is.... UNLESS you were only looking for software to unlock, id recommend the £5 unlock.

errm no to sending it back as i got it brand new for sill price
i know i can get it unlocked for around 10 quid
but they only use software and i was wonering if anyone knew as to where i can get it from

You might want to debrand the phone too, as it will be running in dual 3G/2G mode, as O2's 3g coverage is pretty rubbish atm and it'll drain the battery faster.
You'll need to debrand if you did want to set the phone to 2G only as 3 phones don't have the menu for selecting dual mode or 2G only on it, which is very very annoying!
Just as an aside, I suspect the dumb Ebayer stated the phone was 'unlocked' thinking it meant that the phone wasn't barred or anything, there are a surprising amount of idiots out there that do this! Sorry, one of my pet 'mobile phones off Ebay' peeves!
