I currently own a P990i and N73 and was wanting to sell of my P990i coz of it's pathetic battery life and get a new phone.
I have a few phones in mind such as

O2 Atom in life
O2 XDA Orbit
Nokia N95
P1i

O2 Atom life and P1i ar are not GPS enabled but the software for gps can be added and installed on the phones later on.Basically I might need a widnows mobile phone in my car to install the GPS software to enable car naviagation system.Any idea as to which 1 is more popular, stable and better...Windows Mobile 5 or Symbian?

I am not sure about the 2 other phones ...

But im sure abt P1 and N95 ...

N95 is cheap built quality , lots of problems occur .

P1 is much better

go for P1 ...

If I were you I would get the N95 because it has what you want plus a lot more other things.

But the N95 battery drains very quickly.Thats what most of the people on the forums are saying and even the reviews say the same thing

P1i battery drains as fast too. both p1i and n95 are daily charge phone on the same usage pattern. but n95 you get much bigger bang for bucks.

I totally disagree with that one.

For a week I alternated days using both and my N95 drained at least 50% quicker for same use than my P1

if your looking to use GPS out and about for more than 1 hour a day then the battery life is going be in any mobile device, as it has a lot of things to power from 1 battery....

@masseur

can p1 last twice as long as n95? if not, it is still a daily charging affair whether phone last exactly one day or 1.5 days. I am more on this line of thought instead of implying n95 battery last as long as p1. (if i'm not mistaken, p1 battery is about 20% higher capacity than n95)

Well the question over here for me is whether the battery of the p1i lasts longer than the p990, currently i have a p990 and when I start using the phone at 9 in the morning the battery drains out by 8:30 in the evening. So if P1i battery performs better in this case and last for atleast an entire day I have no problems charging the phone every night as long as it worked for me thru out the day.I need to be very certain and sure abt this fact that the battery of the P1i will last a good long day before investing in 1.My usage pattern is abt 2 hrs of talktime,5-6 sms/day,30 mins of wi-fi,45 mins of bluetooth. This is exactly what my usage pattern is like.I dont want to waste my money on the P1i if the battery is same as the P990.The phone I would be purchasing has to be a good phone which could last me atleast a year without thinking of upgrading it,even though newer models are out in the market,so please give ur suggestions and help me accordingly
