hello, pardon me if this ever asked but my search comes up with unrelated results.

I would like to know if there is any other brand of antivirus for cellphone (Nokia N95 specifically) beside F-Secure that comes from the link provided in the phone. is there any other brand that's compatible (performance-wise, not eating up memory and not abusing CPU) with the phone? google comes up with a lot of others but I'm not sure if those are working properly if installed in N95.

advise please? thanks.

ive only used f-secure and havent heard of any. i'd just say you can keep safe just by watching what applications you download or install.

if using wifi, setup a secure connection and use IEEE authentication and add the MAC address to the router then you should be fine...

@bulukaki: You really do not need an anti-virus on your Symbian device. Simply ensure that you install apps from reputable or verifiable sources, and you have nothing to fear. Symbian is a pretty secure platform. Available viruses cannot infect you without your permission. I've been using Symbian smartphones for years and not gotten an infection once.

Viruses don't exist for the symbian platform(only Malware). As said above, you have to be quite stupid to agree to install.
