Hi guys
Got to have a fiddle with protos of the above phones, any questions from anyone are welcome.
I know I'm not the first person to use these but if anyone wants anything answered, I'll try and answer them. I'll get another chance to see them on the 23rd of October so I'll try and follow up some q's then.
First impressions, all very well built.
7900 Prism - solid and compact but not the best keypad in the world. The key colours, there are about 50 to choose from and the all work very well, was an instant hit with all the girls. As the rep put it, it's this years 7373 really, it will sell regardless of features. Flash is nice and bright too. The guy told us the screen will be better as it's a prototype one at the moment.
6500 slide - will very likely be my next phone, keypad was really nice and even and large. Screen was big and bright, and the camera came out well on screen.
VGA video recording too, and the double flash really helps compared to the old Nokia ones.
6500 classic - this will literally be a classic, again all the girls loved it and it's so much classier than the 6300, almost no plastic, almost all metal, slim and compact but nice and easy to use. Nice flash, just a nice inexpensive phone.
N81 - very fast, I may even consider this as my first decent smartphone. I pushed the menu button and it appeared INSTANTLY, literally almost NO delay at all. Menus were quick and responsive, buttons were easy to use. red and green (hang up and answer buttons) are quite small but interesting. The middle of the navigation key glows yellow when being used with three little LED's and flashes every few seconds to indicate the phones on I think (probably for missed call and text stuff too).
Overall, 4 very good phones

What's the build quality of the N81 like? I looks really plasticky in photos and the glossy finish doesn't help that perception, not to mention fingerprints.

Couldn't test the speakers because it was very loud in there, wouldn't have been able to hear it.
It felt well built, and is a bit plasticy but not in the glossy black creaky way. It felt well made and wasn't really a finger print magnet, but I'll have a closer look come the 23rd October.

I think around 1 week before , i also made a Thread regarding this ...
I also got a chance to get hand of these phones and use them ...
I Personally really didn't like the 6500 Classic , but the Slide 6500 was great
And to those guys who want to know about the external speakers of N81 , the Sound Loudness was just like N73 , but sound QUALITY was EXTREMLY AMAZING AND BRILLIANT!
