Hi y'all!
I am having a problem with my new P1i which I am finding quite puzzling. I cannot get it to connect to the computer (or at least get my computer to recognise that the phone is connected via the PC Suite) when I try to connect it in PHONE MODE using the USB cable. When I connect in TRANSFER MODE however, it works like a charm and via infrared, I am experiencing no problems. I also have a P990i which I am connecting to the computer in both PHONE and TRANSFER mode without any problems whatsoever. Can anyone assist?

Yes. I downloaded 1.3.22 from the SE support site. I have XP SP2 on my computer.

Uninstall Antivirus / Firewall-applications. Reboot. Reinstall PC Suite.

Did you uninstall the old version of PC suite before you installed the new one? You have to make sure that all the files from the old one are gone before you install the new one. I have heard other people having similar problems when previous versions had been used with older phones and then not properly uninstalled.
