I purchased my P1 in sweden. i want to be able to use in both countries. Currently in USA and have set up with ATT service but i cannot access internet or send MMS on phone. I have received the correct settings and have chatted at length with ATT service techs and Sony Ericsson. No one can come up with a solution. Is this phone any use in USA? Can someone help with settings....

Have you tried using the Sony Ericsson WAP configurator? Sometimes the settings are corrupt for one reason of another. You can just change your location (when asked) to get the correct settings.
Here is a link to it.
Follow it and select P1i, then United States, then your network etc etc.
