Hello, this is my very first problem with the K750i:
One day I noticed that the backlight (on the top; joystick and top keys) keeps switched on always, even if I switch off the phone (unless -of course- I remove the battery, that light is on).
Tried master reset and firmware upgrade with no results.

Possible problem with the internal keypad PCB? If you feel confident/competent, try taking the phone apart and cleaning the keypad's mainboard contacts and see if that helps

seriously...
but of course it drains your battery power off.....
i think the switch for the backlight have been out of order that the phone backlight is always on...
or mybe firmware corruption??
i guess sesc is the best answer for that...

Try reflashing the phone. If it is software issue flashing will solve the problem.

I tried that this morning via SEUS, nothing changed. The thing is that the light comes only from the joystick (always unless I take baterry off the phone), the numeric pad isn't lit.

SEUS only updates core files of the firmware imo. NOt the whole firmware so the keypad control files are not included in the update process throught SEUS. But this is only my opinion. Did you try flashing your phone with some 3rd party software like XS++?

I think it might not woth the time I'll spend trying to fix it (updated SEUS and master reset...) XSS seems to be a very powerful program but something I know to spend hours to test it, and disassemble the phone... maybe one day. Seems to me that this problem is not "easy" to fix.
